Spring Trends For The Win

 Florals, bright colors, basket bags and the list goes on for what is currently trending for Spring.  This is one of my favorite seasons to do some shopping.   Many of these pieces will absolutely transition into summer as well!  I always feel with the weather being nicer I have more fun and can have more versatility with my outfits.  Here is a look of what I am currently loving. Bright Floral Bags

Lets talk Bags! I am a sucker for a good fun handbag. I don’t change my purse that often and like to have one that is functional, fashionable and good quality. I will spend a little more on a bag because I literally carry it with me everywhere I go! This Michael Kors bright red floral bag had my heart when I saw it in the window at the Tanger Outlets in Southaven, MS. I have gotten so many compliments on it everywhere I go.  It is fun and very sturdy and fits everything I need in it.  I usually carry my planner, a couple pairs of glasses, wallet, keys, makeup etc.  Here are some similar styles below!

 

Basket bags, bamboo bags have been all over social media and on every major blogger’s instagram feed. My favorite is Cult Gaia. They are the real deal. Now there are a lot of knock offs out there but truthfully why pay $80 for a knock off when you can pay a bit more to have the real one.  The quality and craftsmanship is so much better with Cult Gaia. The mini bamboo ark bag is absolutely adorable and perfect for your beach vacation or date night out.  All of them are handmade and because of that will have some slight differences from bag to bag. The packaging is absolutely adorable and makes a great gift.  Of course there are other sizes, styles and colors you could choose too.  See the looks below!

I am so excited to see these acetate earrings. Everything is so colorful and reminds me a beautiful acetate pair of glasses! I couldn’t resist these Bauble Bar earrings from Indigo.  There are many other accessory lines that are sweeping up this trend.  They are so unique and a bit edgy to me.  I love too that they remind me of a guitar pick as well.

Florals, Stripes and Flares!
 

These pants were a combo of all three of these patterns and styles that are so hot right now.  I love pairing florals along with a stripes.  The harsh lines of stripes really compliments the ebbs and flows and curves and edges of flowers.  Also, who knew that wide leg flares were coming back! Makes me wish I didn’t give all my flare pants away years ago.  Lesson learned.  Skorts and scrunchies making a comeback.  Think twice before you part with your trendy pieces they always come back.

Whether it be an off the shoulder dress, top or romper,  this elegant feminine trend is still going strong.  At first, I honestly hated this trend because every off the shoulder item I would try on as soon as I would lift my arms it would fly back up onto my shoulders.  It took some shopping around and trying on to find what worked. Tip for buying off the shoulder, try it before you buy it and move around with it.  I have found that a little better quality of fabric and how it is made really makes a huge difference.
