Baby Registry Must Haves and Nursery Reveal

Putting together a baby registry was honestly overwhelming at first. I really had no clue what a baby really needs and it took me a while to really focus on what our baby would actually use and need. This is my first baby so I definitely had to research and ask other experienced mommas about what were their must haves for their baby registry. If you can’t tell by all the pink, we’re having a girl! However, a lot of the items that I have linked in this post are gender neutral and come in other colors as well. I feel like there is a lot of “fluff” out there, but will you really use them or get your moneys worth out of it? All of these items below are in my opinion must haves.

I couldn’t possibly add all of the clothing that I got her, however things like swaddles that you don’t need to think about in the middle of the night I felt were a must. Make sure you wash everything that would touch baby’s skin before he or she arrives and we got the Dreft hypoallergenic detergent. I’ve heard from multiple mamas that the Phillips glass bottle set, warmer and their drying rack is simply the best. Here’s hoping that my baby will think the same! Milk always tastes better out of glass.

I know it is a splurge, however if you are a busy working mama to be like me, the Elvie Pump is hands down the best. Its ultra quiet and wearable with no tubes that would need to be cleaned and you don’t have to be plugged into a wall. I think it is kinda crazy that you could be on a Zoom call and be pumping and no one would know!

All of the items below are my faves, however I will say that I’d like to highlight the halo bassinet, the Infant Optics baby monitor, the Stokke highchair (holds 300lbs and will transition into a toddler chair), the BabyBjorn carrier (great if you have back problems), and the 4 moms Rockaroo. These are pricier purchases, but must haves!

For the mama’s, I’ve used the Burts Bee’s Mama Bee belly butter and then the Bio Oil at night to help with stretch marks. I am 35 weeks pregnant as I write this and do not have any stretch marks. I’ve been very happy with the combination of those two and they won’t break your bank. I still have some weeks to go, and sometimes stretch marks are inevitable, however I highly recommend these two.

Happy Baby Shopping! Having a new baby is not cheap and you really don’t need everything. However, I feel really good about these purchases for our little one. Feel free to comment what your favorite baby items are!
